Purpose: This paper examines the culture, information and communication technology, and knowledge sharing methods among employees (librarians and managers) of public libraries in Ahvaz city. Methodology: This is an applied research and has been done by survey. The statistical population was all employees (managers and librarians) of public libraries in Ahvaz city and the implementation time was 2022. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data, and the content validity of the questionnaire was obtained by experts' opinion and its reliability using Cronbach's alpha (0.90) and dividing it into two halves (0.85).Research findings: In terms of the components of sharing culture, the competition between employees for sharing knowledge with the highest average (3.16) has the best status, and the managers' motivation to share knowledge with other libraries is the lowest with an average of 2.70. Also, the state of knowledge sharing in terms of different methods of knowledge sharing shows that the most favorable state is related to courses and workshops with an average of 3.55, followed by the enterprise resource planning (ERP) with 3.51, as well as the quality of personal communication and informal among librarians with an average of 3.26.Results: In a general conclusion, the state of knowledge sharing in terms of the culture of sharing, the existing conditions of information and communication technology, and the methods of knowledge sharing is not in a good condition, and the public libraries of Ahvaz, in all sectors, need to be upgraded and improved.

IntroductionThis study evaluates and ranks the scientific journals of psychology using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model. Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a linear programming-based technique for measuring the relative performance of organizational units where the presence of multiple inputs and outputs makes comparison difficult. DEA was originally developed to measure the efficiency of a Decision Making Units (DMU) as a whole unit, without considering its internal structure. In other words, the system is treated as a black box, within which inputs are supplied to produce outputs, with there generally being a positive correlation between the two.Traditional DEA models are only able to evaluate DMUs with deterministic inputs and outputs, while in real-world problems, data are usually uncertain. So far, various approaches have been introduced to overcome the uncertainty of data. In this paper, two robust DEA models are presented to evaluate the performance of systems with continuous uncertain data under constant return to scale (CRS) and variable return to scale (VRS) conditions. The main advantage of the proposed robust DEA models over the previous robust DEA models is that they are able to formulate uncertainty in both input and output data. Moreover, these models are also developed directly on basic traditional DEA models (not alternative models).Research Question(s)What is the status of effective indicators (citation and non-citation) in the ranking of valid scientific journals of psychology?What are the top scientific journals in different fields of psychology?What is the ranking status of psychology journals using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model?What is the ranking status of psychology scientific journals based on the Anderson-Peterson CRS and Anderson-Peterson VRS models?Literature ReviewDEA is used for ranking journals in different fields. A study by Rosenthal and Weiss (2017) ranks business journals, using data from the Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports® (JCR). They ranked 358 business journals from five different JCR categories according to such citation-based factors as the number of articles, the number of citations, impact factor, five-year impact factor, immediacy index, eigenfactor score, and article influence score. They compute the relative efficiencies of the journals and thereby create plausible journal rankings that largely, but not completely, corroborate three widely used business publication journal ranking lists. In addition, we show how the different characteristics of the JCR data impact the DEA ranking model. Finally, they identify journals that are not on the business publication lists but consistently perform very well relative to those benchmark journals, and should possibly be included in the business publication ranking lists. They also identify journals whose inclusion in widely used business publication rankings cannot be justified by their methodology.MethodologyIn this study of data envelopment analysis technique, Anderson-Peterson model, CRS and VRS output-oriented, 2018 JCR ratings scientific journals of psychology were evaluated and the top journals ranked. This study has a quantitative approach and is applied research. The research method is scientometrics and bibliometrics using Operational Research techniques. In order to evaluate and rank psychology scientific journals, seven citation indicators were extracted from the Analytics Clarivate database. These indicators are the total number of citations, journal impact factor, five-year impact factor, immediate index, citeable items, journal influence factor, and journal article influence factor.In this study, using data envelopment analysis technique, Anderson-Peterson model, CRS and VRS output-oriented, 2018 JCR ratings scientific journals of psychology were evaluated and the top journals ranked.ResultsFindings show that with the help of JCR indicators and using the Anderson-Peterson CRS and VRS model, more accurate rankings of journals can be achieved. The comparison of scientific journals is in the ranking of CRS and VRS models. The Journal of Psychological Science in the Public Interest tops in both models. The top 10 journals based on CRS respectively are: Psychological Science in the Public Interest, International Review of Sport and Exercise Psychology, Annual Review of Psychology, Psychological Bulletin, Psychological Inquiry, Behavioral and Brain Sciences, Social Issues and Policy Review, Personality and Social Psychology Review, Annual Review of Clinical Psychology, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.The top 10 journals based on VRS respectively are: Psychological Science in the Public Interest, International Review of Sport and Exercise Psychology, Annual Review of Psychology, Frontiers in Psychology, Psychological Bulletin, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Trends in Cognitive Sciences, Psychological Science, Frontiers in Human Neurosciences.DiscussionHere goes the text for your discussion.ConclusionScientific journals of psychology were evaluated and ranked using the Anderson-Peterson CRS and VRS models. Also, the evaluation indicators of scientific journals in the Clarivate Analytics database were reviewed and the top three journals in 11 areas of psychology and the top 30 journals in this field were identified and introduced. The top 30 journals and their differences in CRS and VRS models were compared and analyzed. In the part of descriptive findings, the frequency of journals in different fields of psychology was found, including 10.25% of psychology journals in general, 10.91% of applied psychology journals, 1.86% of biological psychology journals, 17.17% scientific journals in the clinical psychology field, 10.11% scientific journals in advanced psychology field, 7.85% scientific journals in educational psychology field, 11.71% scientific journals in experimental psychology field, 1.73% scientific journals in mathematics psychology field, 18.28% are scientific journals in the field of interdisciplinary psychology, 1.73% are scientific journals in the field of psychoanalytic psychology, and 8.38% are scientific journals in the field of social psychology. Finally, considering the needs of the country's scientific community, conducting research with other research communities (different scientific fields and disciplines), conducting research and ranking journals with other indicators and normalized indicators are recommended.

This descriptive survey evaluates the digital libraries of Allameh Tabataba’i University and Tebyan Cultural Institute based on the Xie and Joo (2013) digital library evaluation criteria. A checklist was made based on information from 10 structural dimensions of digital library evaluation criteria. It was then set up as a researcher-made questionnaire based on the Xie and Joo digital library evaluation criteria. To collect data, questionnaires were distributed among librarians and users of the two digital libraries. Sixty-three valid responses were collected and analysed with SPSS software .Findings showed that the two digital libraries were in a moderate condition in two dimensions (user engagement and context); and in good condition in the others. The findings of the inferential statistics show that there is no significant difference between users’ and employees’ viewpoints on the dimensions of the digital collection, interface design, context, preservation and administration (sustainability). However, regarding the information organization and services (level 0.01), the dimensions of technology and the effects on the user (level 0.02), there is a significant difference between the two systems in terms of the user engagement dimension with the relative superiority of Allameh Tabataba’i digital library.The results show that despite the differences in the type of these two libraries, there is not much difference between the studied dimensions (other than those mentioned in the findings), but in some dimensions, there is a slight difference between the respondents' opinions. It is seen with the relative and partial superiority of Allameh Tabataba’i digital library.

The aim of this study was to analysis the services provided for the elderly in the public libraries of Tehran city affiliated to the Iran Public Libraries Foundation. The statistical population of the research included 38 administrators or managers of public libraries in Tehran city. A descriptive survey method was used in this research. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect the data, which was inspired by the guidelines of the American Library Association's for the Elderly Services in Libraries. Data analysis was done at two levels: descriptive statistics analysis including frequency, percentage of frequency and illustrating frequency tables and graphs, as well as the inferential analysis including single sample t-test using SPSS software. The results showed that Tehran Public libraries in all components of special services for the elderly including library staff training, communication and library resources, library planning, equipment, developing and sharing the facilities, home services and the budget are not in good standing right now, and the available services in all the components are below average.

Purpose: This study evaluates the position of Iranian Universities with an emphasisonAllameh Tabatab’i University (ATU) in four international university ranking systems including Shanghai, QS, Times, and ISC.
Methodology: This is an applied research. The method of comparative research, the method of collecting library information, and the tool for checklist research are based on the indicators of each of the mentioned ranking systems.
Results: Findings show that 80 percent of the total published papers (as a key indicator) with an ATU affiliation appeared in Iranian journals and only 20 percent of the papers appeared in international journals. Despite the improving state of Allameh Tabataba'i University, it is still positioned relatively far from the top international universities in various other ranking indicators.
Conclusion: The results show that until the end of 2016 Allameh Tabatab’i University did not have a great position in three of the international university ranking systems—Shanghai, QS, and Times. However, in 2015 and 2016 the ISC ranked Allameh Tabatab’i University the second in Iranian universities in the field of humanities.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the scientific cooperation network of Iranian researchers in the field of social sciences at the Web-based site from the beginning to the end of 2014. Scientometrics and network analysis indicators were used. Statistical population consists of scientific production of Iranian researchers in the Web of Science since the appearance of the first publication (with an affiliation to an Iranian university/institute) to the end of 2014 (9318 articles). The data were extracted from the Web of Science and analysed by Bibexcel, HistCite, and VOS Viewer. The findings of the research indicate that the articles of cooperation in the field of social sciences have been on a par with the following years. Based on the findings of the research, Iran's position in Middle Eastern countries is ranked third among the countries of Zionist regime and Turkey in terms of scientific production. Iran collaborated most with USA, UK, and Canada.The result showed 46.08 percent inter-institutional collaboration, 24.55 per cent intra-institutional collaboration, and 22 percent international collaboration. Overall, results indicated the average collaboration coefficient was 64%, and the trend has been upward, which indicates an increased willingness by Iranians authors for cooperative papers. The most dominated model of authorship was two and three authored articles respectively. In general, the findings of this study indicate the willingness of researchers to produce science in a collaborative way.

This research is set to study scientific publications published by faculty members of Allameh Tabatab’i University in two international citation indexes including the Science Citation Index and Scopus. Duration of the study was 1987 till the end of 2015. Scientometrics methods were used to do the study. Searches in the mentioned databases were the main tool of data gathering. The results show that the growth rate was 29.49 and 32.51, and density indicator is 0.008 and 0.005 in the Science Citation Index and Scopus respectively. This indicates a low density and low collaboration among authors. Faculty of Management and Accounting was the most productive one. The United States of America and Switzerland were top countries in international scientific collaborations. In addition, scientific collaboration at national level was mostly done by authors from the Islamic Azad University, Tehran University and Amir Kabir University of Technology. There was an overlap of 21 percent among indexed publications by the two databases.

The present study aimed to determine the levels of Iranian collaboration and to analyze scientific collaboration network in the area of basic medical sciences, in the Science Citation Index from 1996 to 2013. Scientometric methods and network analysis have been used for the study. The study sample consisted of 1040 articles published in the field of stem cells, molecular medicine and computational biology, subfields of basic medical sciences and science priorities in the comprehensive scientific map, extracted from the Science Citation Index. The results show that Inter-institutional collaboration in the field of basic medical sciences was 23.94%, Intra- institutional collaboration was 52.02%, and the level of international collaboration was 23.08%. The result of macro indicators of collaboration network analysis in this area of the study was as follows: density of networks: 0.018; network clustering coefficient: 0.831; geodesic distance: 3.334; network diameter 9 and network components: 24. The result of micro indicators of Social Network Analysis was as follows: degree centrality: 2.346%; betweenness centrality: 31.69%; closeness centrality: 3.522%; and Eigenvector Centrality: 85.18%. It can be concluded that scientific collaboration network in the basic medical sciences area was not coherent enough and adequate communication and collaboration have not happened.

Purpose: This study is set to map co-authorship network and scientific collaborative coefficient of Iranian researchers in aerospace science in the Science Citation Index till 2014. Method: Scientometric methods were used to do the study and the following software applied for data analysis: HistCite, VOSviewer, Pajek, UCI net, and Excel. Out of 2501 articles in aerospace sciences were found in the Science Citation Index with affiliation to Iranian universities and institutions. Results: Results showed that 67.45 percent of the articles were written with collaboration at the national level, 32.55 percent at regional level and 4.42 percent of the articles were written with collaboration at the international level. Top Iranian universities and institutions were Sharif University of Technology, Shiraz University, Tehran University and the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences, respectively. Conclusion: Maximum of research productions was produced with the United State of the America. Analysis of collaborative coefficient showed collaborations with countries such as the United Kingdom, Italy, German and France. Mean of collaborative coefficient was 0.43 during the research. Authors’ typology showed 88 percent of articles were written by two authors and 16.39 percent of the articles were written by three authors
